Program Overview

The field of study Animal nutrition and dietetics is oriented towards the issue of animal nutrition, both of animals in hobby farms (dogs, cats, horses), and farm animals and exotic animals. The graduate possesses the competences of a specialist in animal nutrition and dietetics. His competences are based on broad knowledge in the field of physiology and biochemistry of nutrition, feeding of individual species and age categories of animals, hobby and economic. The students of the field are also introduced to commodity issues, relevant legislation, animal nutrition optimization programs, provision of feed base and production of healthy and dietetic feed, their preservation, storage and technological modifications, including the production of feed mixtures.
