Program Overview

Studying the follow-up master's program in theater studies deepens the knowledge acquired at the bachelor's level. Emphasis is placed both on deepening the basic theatrical disciplines (work with archives, theater criticism, dramaturgical activity, historiographic research), and on the perception of theater and research on it in broader interdisciplinary contexts (overlapping into psychology, philosophy and sociology of art, cognitive studies). At the same time, students will become familiar with current research methods and current trends in related disciplines. At the same time, emphasis is placed on independent creative activity in the field of research, theater criticism and theater practice.
