The field of study is focused on understanding the principles of the emergence of security risks in information technologies, their preventive treatment and management. The student will become familiar with the basic principles of security, understand the meaning of security measures in extensive information systems. The student will learn the principles of solving new procedures that lead to the design, installation, operation and maintenance of secure information systems. In compulsory subjects, students will deepen the knowledge acquired in their bachelor's studies, especially in the area of information system security, cryptography, data transmission, coding and biometric systems. By choosing optional subjects, the student can further focus on deepening the theoretical foundations in the field of formal specifications and verification or focus more practically on, for example, the creation of embedded systems and hardware,
