Program Overview

A unique five-year field of study that prepares you for a career as a teacher is Teaching for the 1st grade of elementary school. The subject part of the study includes the didactics of the Czech language and literature, foreign language, mathematics, movement, art, music and work education and natural science disciplines for the subjects of primary education, national history and natural science. In addition, you will learn about pedagogy, psychology, communication skills, school legislation and classroom and school management. You will also deal with the specific needs of pupils, the school and the region and the new, much-discussed issues of inclusion in primary school. From the first year of study, you will be involved in continuous teaching practices
