The study program focuses on the preparation of teachers of English language and literature for secondary schools. It includes thorough preparation in language (up to level C2 knowledge), linguistics (professional mastery of the English language system and a good knowledge of its important varieties), literary (history of key Anglophone literatures - British and American), cultural (cultural studies of Anglophone countries) and finally the development of pedagogical competence of the future teacher (continuous and continuous teaching practice, pedagogical-psychological disciplines and didactics of language and literature).
