Program Overview

The Master's study program Secondary School Teaching with a specialization in Chemistry directly follows on from the Bachelor's study program Chemistry with a focus on education for secondary schools and completes the preparation of teachers for secondary schools. Successful completion of the program leads to the acquisition of the qualification of a pedagogical worker - secondary school teacher according to Act No. 563/2004 Coll. Graduates of the Teaching for Secondary Schools study program will, as a priority, work as teachers of relevant subjects in secondary schools (gymnasiums and secondary vocational schools), according to the name of the accredited study programs and their focus. In addition to chemistry, students enroll in a second approval field according to their focus from the bachelor's degree
