The Electrical Power Engineering and Communication Technology study program offers a follow-up master's degree in which a focus on electrical engineering related to the production, transmission, distribution and use of electrical energy is combined with subjects in theoretical and practical computer science and communication technology. By combining both areas of knowledge, a study program was created that reflects the demands of the current and future development of the electric power industry. The basis is subjects focused both on the issues of mobile and fixed communications, modern network technologies, telecommunications services, or on security methods and high-speed multimedia transmissions, as well as on the theory of fault states of distribution networks, methods of their protection, power quality and EMC, diagnostics in the electric power industry , high voltage technology
