Program Overview

The goal of the Materials and Technologies program is to create a modern type of interdisciplinary education with a balanced ratio of theoretical and application-oriented subjects and to prepare students for the future solution of complex engineering tasks with an emphasis on the increasing share of the use of numerical modeling methods, which are an integral part of the expected transition of engineering to a production method marked as Industry 4.0. The education of future specialists in technical sectors in the Materials and Technologies study program is therefore purposefully conceived as a comprehensive set of information in a wide range of areas, which primarily include materials engineering, processing technology of various types of materials, metrology and designing technological production procedures
