Program Overview

The study of the field of Foundry Technology is aimed at training engineers - foundry technologists and metallurgists, research and development workers and specialists in the field of quality control and production. Within the framework of theoretically focused subjects, the student will acquire knowledge of the theory of foundry technology and metallurgy. His knowledge is expediently supplemented with knowledge about molding materials and the construction and use of foundry machines and equipment. The student will also acquire knowledge of the processes of statistical quality control, inspection and analysis of defects or testing and machining of cast materials.
