Masters in Engineering mechanics and automation

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Jan Evangelista Purkyne University

Program Overview

"The follow-up master's study program ""Engineering mechanics and automation"" is intended for graduates of bachelor's studies in the field of mechanical engineering. It is based on the synthesis of universal procedures of designing machines and equipment, numerical simulations and applied sciences. In the course of the study, students will acquire broad theoretical and sufficient practical knowledge with the design and testing of individual machine components and functional units of machines and equipment. During the course of study, students orientate themselves according to their interest in advanced methods of testing, simulation and measurement with an emphasis on the use of modern additive methods of prototyping and on the issues of virtualization and robotization of Industry 4.0. Emphasis is placed on deepening the knowledge of design tools (CAD, Inventor, NX) and the use of computational methods (CFD, FEM, optimization programs, etc. GT Suite) when designing machines."
