Program Overview

The study program is aimed at training experts for modern metallurgy and engineering. At the beginning, fundamental common theoretical subjects are taught, appropriately supplemented with subjects from, for example, the field of material sciences, management and quality control. In addition, the study program covers the fields of iron and steel production, foundry and volume forming. The study program is characterized by the close connection of the pedagogical process with an often unique experimental base and the use of computer technology in process modeling.

The METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING study program is aimed at training experts for modern metallurgy and engineering. At the beginning, fundamental common theoretical subjects are taught, appropriately supplemented with subjects from, for example, the field of material sciences, management and quality control. Furthermore, the study program is divided into three specializations with their subject areas: Modern metal production technology, Foundry technology and Forming of progressive metal materials.
