Program Overview

The Foundry Technology specialization is focused on the processing of metal materials by foundry processes using traditional technologies (e.g. gravity casting) as well as special casting production technologies (pressure casting, centrifugal casting, etc.). Attention is focused on the entire casting production process, including the design and preparation of the model, the preparation of molding and core mixtures, the production of molds, the preparation and treatment of melts from ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, foundry procedures using permanent and non-permanent molds, including the possibility of influencing the achieved structure and properties of cast parts.
