2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Program Overview

The workload is approximately five courses per semester. A strong emphasis is placed on students' own research; almost half of the credits are awarded for a research project that will take place over the entire two years of study and will form the basis of a master's thesis. The best projects are likely to be published and the student will be the first author. Teachers and supervisors of diploma theses conduct high-quality research, often in close cooperation with the Biological Center of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Students will develop their critical thinking, gain a strong statistical foundation, excellent field skills, learn to present their research or write successful grants.
