Masters in Spatial sciences in the environment

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Czech University of Life Sciences Prague

Program Overview

Spatial sciences combine GIS, remote sensing and advanced spatial modeling. Spatial sciences in the environment aim to use spatial data, algorithms and related technologies to reveal the relationships between humans and living and non-living nature. At the faculty, we mainly deal with biodiversity, water and drought, and the creation of landscapes adapted to climatic extremes. At the Department of Spatial Sciences, we look at nature and the landscape using spatial data (either from satellites and drones or ground mapping) and spatial modeling in order to help decision makers in practice and contribute to scientific knowledge.
