Program Overview

The Protection and use of natural resources program is focused on the entire issue of waste management, including their subsequent energy and material use and the established legislative framework. Graduates will acquire comprehensive knowledge of wastewater and solid waste issues, orient themselves in classic and developing technologies for the separation and processing of solid and liquid waste, including wastewater. Graduates have a strong awareness of legal regulations regulating collection and especially waste management, waste hazard assessment, conditions for the operation of individual types of equipment and the risks of individual components of waste materials for living organisms.
