Program Overview

The goal of the study is to prepare experts with deep knowledge of environmental chemistry, environmental aspects of industrial production and technologies for environmental protection. In common core subjects, students deepen their mathematical knowledge, acquire new chemical-engineering skills, and learn to use them in solving environmental protection problems. They will also acquire basic management skills and knowledge in the field of economics and management. In the Environmental Technology (ET) specialization, knowledge of methods and procedures for the capture and disposal of chemical pollutants and their removal from various components of the environment is further deepened. A general overview of industrial technologies is a prerequisite for minimizing their negative impact on the environment. In teaching, emphasis is placed on understanding the principles of remediation and decontamination technologies, their advantages and limitations, as well as awareness of wider environmental contexts.
