Program Overview

The program is focused on the evaluation, planning and management of activities connected with the use of natural resources and individual components of the biosphere. Students will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge about air quality and protection, soil types and their properties as well as soil protection, sources, quality and protection of surface and underground water and the effects of the individual named components on biomass production. Knowledge of the individual components of the biosphere provides the basis for mastering the issue of the use of renewable energy sources, for the energy use of waste and for the application of the law regulating activities in the environment.
