The study program/field aims primarily to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge based on the current state of scientific knowledge, research and development, to master their application and to develop creative abilities, namely in the field of Portuguese language, linguistics, literature, culture and history, whether Portuguese, Brazilian or Luso-African (that is, of African countries whose official language is Portuguese).
