Masters in computational and applied mathematics in Technical university of ostrava

The follow-up master's program is divided into two specializations and is intended for graduates of technical and natural science programs. Graduates of the Applied Mathematics specialization are able, thanks to their knowledge of the relationships and contexts between individual branches of mathematics (primarily numerical analysis, statistics and discrete mathematics), to find their mathematical structure in practical problems and to create and subsequently solve relevant mathematical models based on it. Computational methods and HPC graduates are more oriented towards effective (parallel) implementation of mathematical methods and the use of modern computer architectures, including supercomputers.
