Program Overview

The study provides hydrobiological education in limnology and knowledge of production, microbial and chemical processes and transformation of nutrients in ecosystems of lakes, ponds and valley reservoirs. The program is guaranteed by the Department of Ecosystem Biology in cooperation with the institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and is focused on the biology and ecology of aquatic organisms, food webs in plankton, population dynamics of fish in valley reservoirs, life cycles, population dynamics and the formation of communities of aquatic invertebrates in small reservoirs without fish.
