Program Overview

In the master's study program Botany, you will get an overview of current knowledge in the field of plant, algae and fungi biology , especially their taxonomy, phylogeny, diversity, evolution and ecology. You will deepen your detailed knowledge and skills in one of the sub-specializations - plant biosystematics (plant evolutionary biology), plant ecology and a specialization focused on algae and fungi - phycology and mycology . The study will provide you with a solid knowledge of European flora and vegetation .
