Program Overview

The characteristic activities of graduates of this field are the design, construction and operation of chemical processes and technologies leading to the transformation of oil, mineral, ore and other natural raw materials into technically and ecologically significant materials or products. Graduates find employment mainly in the management of technological processes and management of chemical operations, in operations for the production of synthetic materials, plastic processing, production of compounds and composites, adhesives, fertilizers, inorganic reinforcements and fillers, in the surface treatment of materials (electrical, textile, automotive and aerospace industries) , in the glass and cement industry, in pharmaceutical and cosmetic production, in the production of ceramic and building materials, in waste recycling and in other, mainly chemical, processes.
