Program Overview

The goal of the study program is the education and comprehensive training of experts with a broad theoretical and practical basis in material sciences, intended for independent creative and professional activity. The general basis of the program is knowledge from the study of material structures and their chemical and physical properties, while the emphasis is placed on the connections between the preparation of materials, their chemical composition, structure and properties of materials. The focus on specific materials is determined by the orientation of the research activity at the faculty, which is carried out within the framework of materials research in the highly equipped research centers of the Materials Research Center and CEITEC and is focused on inorganic non-metallic and metallic materials and polymer and composite materials
