Masters in Applied Mechanics Biomechanics and Mehanics of Modern Technology

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

University of West Bohemia

Program Overview

This specialization is part of the follow-up master's academically focused study programApplied Mechanics. It represents a modern complex system of disciplines that combines technical and natural sciences. Emphasis is placed on mathematical modeling of complex mechanical and biomechanical systems using modern computational methods and robust solution algorithms, such as the method of finite elements, finite volumes, methods of homogenization of heterogeneous environments, scale modeling approach, etc. The space is devoted to both theoretical procedures of mathematical modeling , as well as basic experimental methods in process modeling in the field of applied mechanics and biomechanics.
