Program Overview

This specialization is part of the subsequent academically focused master's study programApplied Mechanics. The study includes a description of the dynamic behavior, and especially of the vibrations of structures and machines, with the possibility of actively influencing this behavior with the help of control elements. From there, the appropriate focus of study flows both on the field of mechanics, where emphasis is placed on the mathematical theory of oscillations, continuum mechanics, statistical mechanics, dynamic synthesis and optimization, and on the field of cybernetics, where the student is familiar with control theory, systems theory and the field of regulation theory . Robotics also occupies an important position in the specialization.
