Graduates of this study program are sought-after (and well-paid) experts in the field of polymer processing into a finished and functional product . The entire study is about how to design the manufactured part as efficiently as possible and process the structural design of the tool for its production ( injection mold , extrusion head, etc.). Great emphasis is placed on the use of computer technology. All the fun takes place in CAD/CAM/CAE applications such as CATIA, NX, Moldflow, Cadmould or Autoform. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of the mechanical behavior of metals, polymers and composites . Then you will nod your head appreciatively at every product you get your hands on, because only you will know how it actually came about and where there is an injection fault invisible to the layman's eye.
