Program Overview

The aim of the program is to expand the theoretical and practical knowledge of a student who has previously completed the same bachelor's study program. In the subsequent master's studies, the emphasis is on deepening his knowledge of archaeological theory and methodology and on expanding his overview of pan-European contexts from prehistoric times to the early modern period. As part of their specialization, determined by the selection of a master's thesis and addressed in the given specialization seminars, students can choose from a wide range of compulsory elective subjects that comprehensively cover both sub-archeological topics and topics connected to related scientific fields (e.g. history, ethnoarchaeology , anthropology, conservation).
