Program Overview

You will significantly deepen your knowledge of contemporary archaeology. As part of the study, emphasis is placed on mastering the system of sources and on the habit of independent education and thinking. You will gain an advanced and up-to-date insight into the issues of archaeological theory and method. You will be able to independently analyze and interpret the results of empirical research using the full range of equipment commonly used in archeology including state-of-the-art computer technology. You will have a broad overview of prehistoric, medieval and modern archeology in the Czech and European environment.
