Program Overview

The master's study of Baltic studies directly follows on from the bachelor's study: in terms of geography, it focuses on Lithuania, Finland, Estonia and Latvia, and in terms of methodology, it focuses on the philological expertise of its graduates. The main goal of the master's degree is to fundamentally deepen the knowledge and professional skills of the students: the graduate must not only master the target language in the entire range of functional styles, but also be able to professionally engage in the research of the given language (Lithuanian, Finnish, Estonian, or Latvian) directly in Lithuania, Finland , in Estonia, respectively Latvia, that is to have a good overview of professional events, participate in conferences, etc
