2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Jan Evangelista Purkyne University

Program Overview

The follow-up master's program is a so-called academic program. It provides a deepening of geographical knowledge from a bachelor's degree. Interdisciplinary courses and practical topics predominate. The study develops the skills to find and assess geographic information sources of various types, to analyze and interpret acquired spatial information, to use modern geoinformatics tools and to present and argue the results of their work through them. The student is also able to apply geoinformatics tools to state administration (real estate records, territorial landscape protection, regional planning, cultural heritage protection) and create GIS projects solving specific problems.
