Program Overview

Wooden structures and wood-based constructions in face-to-face form. The student of this two-year program will acquire a deeper and more comprehensive knowledge of the principles of designing construction works with the dominant use of wood as a construction material. He will acquire theoretical knowledge, for example, from applied mechanics, construction and properties of wood, construction physics, mathematical theory of elasticity and business economics. This theoretical basis will be followed by a set of subjects profiling the skills needed for independent orientation in the field of design, building legislation, industrial production technologies and the construction of wooden buildings, wooden structures and construction carpentry products.
