Nanotechnology can be used in numerous different contexts such as development of new materials and new technologies. The specialisation in Nanomaterials and Nanophysics focuses on designing, fabricating and controlling materials and components with dimensions on the nanoscale, i.e. from 1 to 100 nm. You will learn how nanotechnology can be used to develop new optic and electronic components and new materials for use in communications technology, sensor technology or catalysis.
