Bioengineering supports the fast growing fields of industrial biotechnology and circular bioeconomy that are expected to become the key solutions for the humanity s goal to achieve biosustainability of our planet. There is also a growing need for specialists in bioengineering as industrial biotechnology and synthetic biology will be the basis of industrial revolution of the 21-st century. The master s program in bioengineering is an interdisciplinary curriculum which combines different fields of applied biotechnology, synthetic biology, engineering and information technology.

Bachelor s degree or equivalent qualification, official copy of the bachelor's diploma or its equivalent and Diploma Supplement (transcript) in the original language, official translation of the bachelor s diploma and Diploma Supplement (transcript) into English, translation certified, copy of the passport page stating the applicant s personal particulars, motivation letter, English language proficiency-TOEFL (iBT) minimum required overall score is 75 for the internet based test, IELTS (academic) - minimum required score is 5.5 and no part can be below 5.5, Cambridge English: First (FCE) - minimum required result is 160, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) - minimum required score is 59, CAE, CPE, CELTA, Estonian state exam in English - minimum required result is B2 level
