The Archives specialization aims to train students in archives and data management, and archival science. Its scientific objectives fall within the field of traditional and digital humanities, as well as heritage sciences. The mention combines training in research and training in professional practices related to contemporary issues of archives and data management, in the business environment, administration and research.The Archives mention offers students an original approach which is based on the transmission of the main principles of archival science, while preparing them to transpose these heuristic knowledge into the various contemporary institutional contexts. The training is based both on the scientific expertise of archive managers and on the educational contribution of teacher-researchers specializing in history and law, archives and the written word, as well as digital.
