2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Paul Sabatier University

Program Overview

The energy production sector involves a wide range of professions and is one of the most important recruiters (see the report on the benchmarks for executive professions in the energy sector, published by Apec). Recruitment takes place in major international construction, operation and maintenance groups for energy production units: EDF, EDF New Energies, Areva, etc. as well as in research organizations and SMEs-SMIs. Most of these structures devote a large part of their activities to research and development studies in the field of renewable energies. The job study also shows that the main needs appear in the engineering, operation, maintenance and continuous improvement. Companies also need maintenance to be increasingly specialized with demands for nuclear safety professions. The renewal of staff in large groups and companies in the electricity production sector, the modernization of facilities and development projects for new renewable energies are therefore boosting recruitment in this sector at national and international level.
