The Mathematical & Computational Engineering theme trains general engineers in applied mathematics, in response to the challenges of digital and energy transitions in modern society. Our engineers are involved in designing, implementing and using computational methods in the different domains of digital society. Thanks to their scientific and technical knowledge base they are able to appropriately respond to the multitude of problems in the digital society, by designing, implementing and evaluating various methods, be they technological sensors, physical systems, autonomous systems or scientific.
