Masters in Mechanics Modeling and Simulation in mechanics and energy

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Federal University of Toulouse Midi Pyrenees

Program Overview

The MSME course offers generalist and multidisciplinary scientific training oriented towards modeling and numerical simulation in the fields of fluid and solid mechanics, energy and heat transfer, covering a wide range of application areas, from aeronautics, space and transport to the environment, health, construction and the energy sector. The two years of master's allow students to acquire operational, scientific and technical skills in the fields of mechanics and energy by mastering both the fundamental knowledge of the field (theories and concepts) and the methods (approach and tools) to be implemented for the resolution of problems arising from the industry or academic research. Graduates have access to engineering or management positions in industry, in design offices or in research and development (R&D), or pursue their professional project within the framework of a doctoral thesis with the prospect of research professions, in an academic (researcher, teacher-researcher) or industrial (engineer-researcher, R&D engineer) framework.
