Program Overview

The "Earth and Planetary Sciences, Environment" master's degree from the OPGC school is divided into two courses, "Magmas and Volcanoes" and "Atmosphere". The choice of course is made when submitting the application, and commits the student for the duration of the master's degree. These two courses of excellence, rather academic but not excluding professional opportunities, are based on two internationally recognized research laboratories, the Magmas and Volcanoes Laboratory (LMV), and the Physical Meteorology Laboratory (LaMP), as well as on the Labex Clervolc and the iSite CAP20-25 program. The main objective of this master's degree is to give students technical skills and a general culture in the sciences of the universe that will allow them to pursue a doctorate anywhere in the world or to enter directly into working life.
