Program Overview

The objectives of this training are therefore multiple: to train the beneficiaries of the courses to enable them to engage in a relevant way in the field of research or in the active professional life in environment, climate and oceanography; transfer skills from intervening teachers to African teachers in the sub-region; develop credible research teams in the West Africa sub-region; help boost research activities and the provision of services and expertise at the regional level.

Additional Information & Requirements

Students come from various M1 backgrounds in physical sciences and mathematics, mainly in the coastal countries of West Africa. Students from France wishing to study in Africa are also considered, Common Application/Online Application, Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Official high school transcripts, English proficiency results to be provided if the applicant's native language is not English: TOEFL: minimum score of 79, IELTS:minimum score of 6, Duolingo, or TOEIC score of at least 750 is required, French language requirements proficiency Level B1/B2 for Bachelor students, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Photographs, Health Insurance
