Program Overview

The objective is to train young researchers who are specialists in these disciplines at a high level of knowledge and skills. The aim is to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the languages and cultures, in the broad sense, of the areas studied. Depending on the areas of research covered by the different teacher-researchers, the three courses provide for a deepening of the study of the main fields: civilization, history of ideas, linguistics, applied linguistics, literature, translation. Through the purely linguistic aspect or the cultural aspect, the aim is to lead students to question the place occupied by these cultural areas in current and historical international systems and networks.
