Program Overview

This master offers in-depth training in art history and archeology in the first year, intended to enable students to master the methodological bases over a wide chronological and thematic arc while leading them to a progressive specialization; preparation for the oral is also privileged with public presentations in the form of a major oral at the end of the first semester (bibliography of the subject) and of the second semester (commentary on a document) with the writing of mini-memoirs. The second year is oriented towards the writing of the research dissertation, the defense of which takes place before a jury at the end of the year; the preparation of this written work is facilitated by taking into account the work in the library.
