Program Overview

The objective of the Microbiology Diagnostics: Innovative Approaches course is to train students in the development and implementation of innovative methods for the detection, characterization and manipulation of microorganisms or complex microbial ecosystems (prokaryotes, eukaryotes, viruses) in the fields of health, biotechnologies, the environment, agri-food and agro-industries. This course responds to a strong demand from these sectors to develop traditional microbiology techniques towards new diagnostic tools and strain modification.
