Culture is a skill that local authorities are seizing today in a context of strong territorial changes (NORe law - New Territorial Organization of the Republic - in particular). The activity is no longer just a top-down approach -- via State institutions -- but emanates from a profusion of local and regional initiatives that now need to be supported in terms of development. We are witnessing a hybridization of cultural practices and places which considerably modifies the contours of professions. This hybridization can be seen as much on the scale of the territories as of the emblematic places of the book (the media libraries, bookstores, etc.) and of the spectacle (stages, etc.).
