Program Overview

The Applied Economics option trains students in two years on international macroeconomics and finance issues related to major societal issues, also giving them skills in quantitative techniques, in line with business expectations. More specifically, the Applied Economics master provides (i) a dual academic and applied training in macroeconomics and international finance; (ii) high-level teaching, given by teacher-researchers and associate professors, specialists in quantitative economics and theoretical economics; (iii) courses that present both the theoretical foundations and the empirical methods, with a clearly stated objective of showing students the applied issues of economic theories; (iv) open lessons on understanding current economic and financial issues; (v) excellent training leading to careers in international organizations, ministries and academic institutions, as well as in international companies.
