Program Overview

The territories in transition course of the GAED Master (geography, planning, environment, development) is aimed at students wishing to pursue careers in territorial engineering and local development in urban, peri-urban and rural areas in a context of multiple transitions. (socio-demographic, climatic, agro-ecological, energy, etc.) and recent reforms of public action (future law for agriculture, food and forestry of 2014; NOTRe law on the new territorial organization of the Republic in 2015; LTECV law on energy transition for green growth in 2015; Climate plan aiming for carbon neutrality in 2017; EGalim law in 2018, etc.). The training offers the possibility of pursuing a doctorate in geography.
