2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Paris West University Nanterre La Defense

Program Overview

"The Master 1 in Local Government Management offers solid theoretical training in political science, the acquisition of bibliographic and documentary research skills, more legal specialization lessons for the Master 2, and a first professional experience. In Master 2, the Local Government Management course combines academics and professionals to provide in-depth knowledge of the disciplines that condition local public action. Common core lessons devote a large place to the legal, economic and financial tools that support the action of local authorities. Two choices of options ("Management organization" or "Public policies") allow students to follow different seminars covering the main fields of territorial policies. In the second semester of M2, students must complete a practical internship to complete their training. A partnership with the IPAG of the University of Paris Nanterre also allows those who wish, via an additional registration (at a preferential rate), to enroll in the ""Public careers"" option by combining their training with sustained preparation. administrative competitions."
