Program Overview

This course makes it possible to acquire the clinical and psychopathological skills necessary for the training of the psychoanalytically oriented clinical psychologist. The student benefits from lessons in the common core with the path of clinical psychology and psychopathology of cognitive-behavioral orientation, and from lessons specific to clinical psychology and psychopathology referring to psychoanalysis (unconscious, intrapsychic and intersubjective processes ). The course therefore provides theoretical-clinical and practical training: in clinical assessment (individual, family, group/institutional) for diagnostic purposes, in psychological interventions, in care and prevention methods; approaches to psychoanalytic psychopathology at different stages of life; different forms of psychic suffering and somatic damage. This course also trains in multidisciplinary networking and in taking into account societal changes.
