Program Overview

From a global perspective, we are far from being able to supply all people with food in such a way that they can lead an active and healthy life. Nutrient deficiency, malnutrition in its tremendous variety as well as planetary, social and cultural determinants to health are serious issues and central challenges of the 21st century. These global health problems are primarily not a request to medicine, but rather to the nutrition and health sciences and to the industry and politics implementing them.

"Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nutrition or health sciences with a final German grade of ""2.5"" or better, Advanced English language skills at least C1 level, based on the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages and proven German language skills A1, Degree and School Leaving Certificates and Transcripts, German language proficiency test for international university applicants with a result of at least DSH 2, Test of German as a foreign language Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache, TestDaF with a result of at least 4 x TDN 4, German Language Certificate of the Education Ministers Conference, DSD - level two (DSD II), SD Zertifikat C2, Goethe-Zertifikat C2, telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule, certificate of the internal German language exam of the University of Bayreuth with Result corresponds to the DSH 2 level, English Language requirements: TOEFL 95 points, IELTS Academic minimum score of 7.0, Cambridge Certificate: Certificate in Advanced English CAE."
