Above all, the master's degree program focuses on the professional, methodological and legal training of future food chemists. The graduates are able to independently and creatively solve food-chemical problems and also to handle and evaluate novel questions competently. In order to achieve this goal, they have become acquainted with the theoretical foundations and complex experimental methods in the individual sub-disciplines. The curriculum touches on many interdisciplinary aspects that are part of the everyday life of a self-employed and team-wise food chemist or food chemist.
