Program Overview

If you are aiming for a long-term career as a music teacher at a school after completing your Bachelor of Music, you might be interested in the Master of Education teaching music for high schools and comprehensive schools single-subject degree. After an aptitude test specially adapted for this target group and proof of a certain teaching experience in schools, you will be given the opportunity to obtain a regular qualification for music as a subject in the schools of the secondary level mentioned.

Proof of a completed bachelor's degree in accordance with the aptitude test regulations or if if this has not yet been completed, a current certificate of enrollment, List of the pieces/works prepared for the aptitude test according to the aptitude test regulations, Proof of payment, CV, Language certificate with level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CEFR must be submitted at the beginning of the course or holders of the DSH German language test for university entrance, have one of the following certificates from the Goethe Institute: Goethe certificate C1, central upper level examination ZOP, small or large German language diploma each level C2/C2+, have completed a degree in German
